Hatha Yoga Classes
Hatha means “union” and the intention of this class is to unite mind, body and spirit to bring them to balance. When we quieten and relax the body, the mind can follow and the soul can rest. During the class we focus on being present throughout and hold postures longer to build up strength and vitality.
In Eileen’s class expect to start with breath work (pranayama) to relax and prepare the body for movement and to bring you into the present moment. This is followed by a series of postures to loosen and open up the body, build strength and flexibility and focussing on body awareness. Each class ends with pranayama and relaxation/ meditation.
Body awareness: Eileen’s intuition, knowledge and experience are important ingredients in her class.
All classes are hatha style yoga and are suitable for both beginners or continuers/improvers
Courses dates in 2016 are in Naas Community Centre, Sallins Road, Naas, Co KIldare and are as follows:
7 week Hatha Yoga course starting 19th April – 31st May 2016
4 week Hatha Yoga course starting 5th July – 26th July 2016** depending on numbers interested
4 week Hatha Yoga course starting 6th Sept – 27th Sept 2016
8 week Hatha Yoga course starting 18th Oct – 6th Dec 2016

Eileen will be setting up Prenatal Yoga Classes and plans to set up Hatha Yoga classes in Kildare Town in 2016.
Eileen is available to run yoga for sports sessions, yoga for women’s health groups or yoga for mental health &well being sessions.
